AXUS Travel App Partners with Tourwriter Software
AXUS Travel App, the leading itinerary management tool for the travel industry, has partnered with tour operator software company Tourwriter to offer tour operators an end-to-end solution linking the creation, collaboration and sharing of travel itineraries with content management and essential back-office business process automation. The integration allows tour operators to push proposals and final itineraries from Tourwriter’s platform into AXUS’s management app. Here they can collaborate directly with travel advisors inside the intuitive AXUS interface. The AXUS distribution model – dynamic digital itineraries delivered via mobile app, custom web link or sleek PDF – then provides a technologically sophisticated and engaging final product for advisors or tour operators to send to their customers.
Stephanie O’Rourke, who oversees the post-sales team at tour operator Cork & Tee, was one of the beta users of the new integration. “Tourwriter houses a significant database of all our tours, providers and pricing,” explained O’Rourke, “so it’s an enormous benefit to be able to share those existing itineraries with advisors and clients electronically and without additional work, allowing for faster collaboration and better service.”
AXUS travel advisors also enjoy the benefits of closer access to Tourwriter’s network of over 150 customers in 30 countries. Itineraries received from tour operators via the new integration can be quickly white-labeled by advisors for their own customers without having to be manually rebuilt by either party.
Tourwriter has spent the past 12 months undergoing rapid growth and their new affiliation with AXUS is a sign of more to come. “Partnering with a forward-looking organization like AXUS helps both companies provide more value for our customers,” said Co-founder and CEO of Tourwriter, Glenn Campbell.
Tourwriter and AXUS were conceived with similar goals: eliminate time-consuming manual processes to allow travel planners to do what they do best: sell travel. “Like AXUS, the Tourwriter product delivers critical time-saving efficiencies,” said Sheila Rice, Vice President of Information Products at Northstar Travel Group, who acquired AXUS in 2017, “and through this deep integration all travel planners can work smarter together.”
Tourwriter software simplifies back-office processes and allows trip designers, tour operators, and destination management companies to create tailor-made itineraries faster and easier.
