We are currently looking for a SQL Developer to be part
of a small, dynamic team that appreciates entrepreneurial spirit and promotes
using technology to solve real impactful business challenges. You’ll be working
under a Sr. Software Engineer/DBA, monitoring, maintaining, and providing support
across the vast number of databases and related assets.
This role can be remote from anywhere in the USA or for
candidates that prefer an office environment, we offer a hybrid remote/office
option from our NJ headquarters.
What You’ll Do:
- Create, modify and debug simple to complex
stored procedures using TSQL
- Build code that is easy to follow and easy to
refactor
- Passion for writing
multi-step complex stored procedure
- Build and modify simple to
complex ETL solutions (without using SSIS)
- Develop procedures and scripts for data
migration
- Profile server resource usage, optimize code and
indexes as necessary
- Maintain and administer database security access
- Monitor automated processes and
respond/debug/restart if needed
- Perform database Ad-hoc backups and restores
- Maintain database documentation as required
- On-call requirements to ensure 24 x 7 support of
database operations
What You Offer:
- 2 years’ experience using Microsoft SQL Server
2012+
- a BS degree in computer science or equivalent
formal training or work experience.
- able to demonstrate systematic and analytical
approach with good problem solving
- Motivated to independently and rapidly learn new
technology
- Work experience in Agile/Scrum fashion is
preferred
- Cloud experience is a plus
