We are looking for a Digital Campaign Manager to join our
team. You will be a key contributor to the Sales and
Digital Ad Services departments, responsible for successful campaign execution
and optimization to meet delivery goals and performance goals. This is a
multidisciplinary position, blending elements of operations, technology, and
analytic under Ad Operations and Email Delivery. While reporting to the
Director of Digital Operations, you will work with various internal teams
(Sales Support, Sales, Client Success, Marketing Services Sales Strategy, and
Ad Trafficker) and external teams on the vendor and client side to manage
standard to large strategic accounts across all digital platforms - web,
mobile, video, email and social.
This role will split their time between our
Secaucus, New Jersey office (2 days) and working remote (3 days). Flexibility
is provided.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as point of escalations for all campaign issues and urgent requests
outside of guidelines. This requires
working closely with Sales Directors and Sales VPs in NY and other cross
functional leaders in different regions (Ad Tech, Ad Ops Program Management, Ad
Product, Yield Management, Account Management, Business Operations).
- Train, and lead Campaign managers.
Align with at least 1 campaign manager to monitor questions, concerns
and assist with overall mentoring
- Act as subject matter expert for all things campaign management and
campaign execution. This includes
understanding marketer’s objective & KPI, Ad technology features and
limitations, best practices that wrap around existing technologies and gaps,
creative QA, and delivery troubleshooting.
- Act as post-sales operations expert
partnering closely with Account Managers and Ad Trafficker to ensure flawless
campaign execution and delivery.

Will work closely with internal and
external teams to translate customer requirements into actionable functional
and technical requirements to be executed by the customer’s advertising
initiatives.
o
Act as point of contact for
troubleshooting for any issue where advertising campaigns (both digital &
email) might impact including creative issues, delivery concerns, product
execution and configuration, QA, site performance impact, and campaign setup.
o
Analyze and reconcile first/third
party delivery for proper billing every month.
- Provide guidance to Account
Managers on campaign setup, delivery and performance optimizations. Understand common KPIs, conversions, inputs,
calculations and outputs required for any new strategic campaign implementation.
o
Continuously monitor campaign
delivery and performance and communicate recommendations for optimizations and
up-sell opportunities. Will lead weekly
pacing calls with assigned Account Managers.
o
Utilize various analytic and
targeting systems (DFP, Google, ESPs etc.) to analyze and troubleshoot campaign
delivery and performance.
o
Assist with interpreting various
sets of performance data and metrics to help the Account Manager tell a story
to the client about how the campaign performed and help recommend best
practices for future campaigns.
o
Provide additional ad hoc analysis
for gain visibility and insight into various cross-sections of business
verticals and ad products to optimize performance.
Who
You Are:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years in digital
advertising or related industry managing varied operational processes and
managing campaign delivery and performance
- Publishing or a similar
industry experience is desired
- Strong knowledge of
campaign life cycle management, ad sales process and familiarity with online
advertising ecosystem
- Comfortable with Microsoft
Excel and analyzing data
- Strong organization and
attention to detail is a must
- Working knowledge of order
management systems
- Excellent written and
verbal presentation skills
- Experience managing
performance driven strategic campaigns is plus
- Working knowledge of DFP,
Google, NetSuite, Social platforms and email ESPs
- Strong soft skills: leadership,
communication, facilitation and working with many different stakeholders
- Flexible and adaptable to
dynamic environment
- Experience in
understanding web technologies, websites, ad operations and email delivery
