Travel Weekly Transforms Global Travel Marketplace Event Brand

SECAUCUS, NJ - Travel Weekly announces the launch of an identity rebranding for its successful Global Travel Marketplace events, GTM and GTM West. The change highlights the event’s forward-thinking business model and elite-level participants.

“Since the event’s launch in 2013, the GTM brand has evolved into one of the most well-regarded events in the industry,” said Alicia Evanko-Lewis, Senior Vice President of Events, Travel Group, Northstar Travel Group. “The rebranding emphasizes that evolution and provides a modernized look to highlight the progressive nature of the brand.”

Global Travel Marketplace is a fully hosted appointment-based event that connects top-tier travel advisors with global travel suppliers. GTM provides a platform for advisor attendees to enhance product knowledge, strengthen supplier partnerships, build new business relationships and learn from the success of their peers through networking, Boardroom presentations and one-on-one appointments.

Applications for both GTM and GTM West opened earlier this week. Qualifying travel advisors must have a minimum of $1 million in annual sales for GTM, and $800,000 in annual sales for GTM West, reside in the U.S. or Canada, have a global book of business and provide supplier references.
