New Program Recognizing Excellence in Meetings and Events; Now Open for Nominations

SECAUCUS, NJ (April 25, 2017) – Northstar Meetings Group is pleased to announce the establishment of The Stella Awards (stella-awards.com), recognizing organizations worldwide that consistently deliver quality service and innovation to meeting and events professionals.

The Stella Awards (“Stella” is “star” in Latin) consolidate Meetings & Conventions’ Gold Awards and Successful Meetings’ Pinnacle Awards into a new, comprehensive program in which finalists are established via online voting and winners judged by an expert panel of industry professionals.

Eligible organizations include hotels, convention centers, conference centers, airlines, cruise lines, DMO/CVBs, and DMCs vying for honors in 18 categories and 6 regions which celebrate overall excellence, superb food & beverage, professionalism of staff, technology innovations, and other critical aspects of the meetings and event experience. Finalists in each category will be determined by industry professionals during an open voting period, while Stella Award winners will be selected by an expert panel of judges overseen by the editors of Northstar Meetings Group’s leading brands, Meetings & Conventions and Successful Meetings.

The Stella Awards are open for entries now until May 26, 2017. Organizations must enter to be eligible, and may submit nominations in any of the 18 categories that are relevant to their business and/or regional presences.
