Managing Director EMEA
Joining the team in January 2023, Nick serves as Managing
Director for the EMEA region. Nick is a strategic, entrepreneurial, and dynamic
leader with a proven track record in developing company strategy and driving
commercial growth across events and multimedia. Nick is extremely passionate
about culture development, people management and his teams embedding themselves
in the communities they serve.
Nick has an extensive media background, having
launched and grown, exhibitions, conferences, awards programs, magazines both
print and digital, as well as other relevant digital media services. He was a
key member of the Easyfairs UK management team which grew their UK business
from a handful of events to seeing the company become one of the top 20 revenue
generating events companies globally, including spearheading the launch of new
events in the Asian & Middle Eastern markets. Following
his time at Easyfairs, Nick moved to the Middle East where he ran the Daily Mail
Group’s events business in Egypt, Qatar & Saudi Arabia, working closely
with the national governments of these countries in launching events to
accompany their nations’ strategic visions across multiple sectors. Most
recently, after relocating back to the UK, Nick launched a brand-new division
comprised of several HR events for CloserStill Media. Within a year, these
launch events became market leaders in the UK & France and were left well
positioned for further global expansion.
Nick holds a BA (Hons) in Events Management from
the University of Gloucestershire and lives with his family in Wiltshire, UK.
