Free Masterclass Series provides continuing education credits
SECAUCUS, NJ (December 7, 2015) – Northstar Meetings Group has launched the Masterclass Series, an innovative video education course aimed at meeting planners of all experience levels. Produced by the award-winning editorial team behind Meetings & Conventions, Successful Meetings, Incentive and Meeting News, the Masterclass Series provides exceptional educational content presented by top industry experts. The Masterclass series is free of charge and offers the Convention Industry Council's Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) credit. Ranging from 30 minutes to an hour, each course is broken into short digestible chapters and can be viewed on desktop, tablet or mobile devices. "From courses on finding an event speaker to mastering second screen technology, there's something for every meeting professional in the Masterclass Series," says Lori Cioffi, Senior Vice President/Editorial Director, Northstar Meetings Group. The two inaugural Masterclass courses are "12 Steps to a Successful Incentive Program," presented by David Caldwell, vice president of sales at Maritz Travel Company, and "Meetings Tech Strategy," presented by Liz King of Liz King Events.
